Creating Nomadtopia

April 20, 2012 |

It turns out I’m not very good at writing blog posts on a regular basis, especially when I have big things going on in my life.

(Am I playing the “just married” card? You better believe it!)

Roberto and I got married at the beginning of March and enjoyed a full weekend of festivities with friends and family from near and far. It was an amazing time with a crazy international crowd, and thanks to the buena onda (good vibes), everyone had a great time together whether they spoke the same language or not!

We took time off work but didn’t take a honeymoon, and we’re already regretting it, so I have a feeling a little mini-break is on the horizon.

Meanwhile, we’re gearing up for the next phase of our own Nomadtopia: spending 5 1/2 months traveling the United States, working, visiting friends and family, attending WDS, and (for me) leading writing retreats.

Stay tuned for new posts about how we’re preparing our apartment for renters, what we’ll be packing, and more.
