Who’s on Your Team?

July 10, 2013 | ,

It can feel awfully lonely when you’re rejecting the status quo and forging your own way.

When everyone around you is saying you’re crazy, that you should tone down your big dreams and go back to to work, you might start to believe them.

This is why you need a team, a dream-upholding crew who will keep you on track and remind you of your exciting goals when you lose your way.

You need someone who will celebrate with you when you hit a big milestone, like quitting your job or buying that plane ticket.

You need someone you can call when everything feels like it’s going wrong (and be confident they won’t tell you to just give up and go home).

Someone who understands exactly what you want to do and why, and only questions you to push you to dream even bigger.

Someone whose example brings out the best in you.

This is why I connect with people online, and stay in touch with people I meet on the road. This is why I attend World Domination Summit and other events.

So who’s on your team? Pay attention to those people who build you up, those who are particularly supportive when you talk about your big ideas. Bring them into your inner circle, and share less with those who just don’t get it.

And if you’re looking for some additions to your team, look no further than the Nomadtopia Collective! This online community is full of people who are ready to support you and your dreams.

How about you? Where do you get the support you need for your nomadic journey?
